Breakfast Biscuits and Gravy Casserole

It’s not everyday that I would recommend this breakfast casserole, but for a special occasion… absolutely! It’s delicious and stays hot in the dish for a lot longer than a side of biscuits and gravy. Great for brunch too!

  1. 2 cans Pilsbury Grands refrigerated biscuits
  2. 1lb. breakfast sausage
  3. 4 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  4. ½ tsp garlic powder
  5. 21/2 cups whole milk
  6. Salt, to taste
  7. Pepper, to taste
  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Open biscuits and cut into quarters.
  3. Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with cooking spray,
  4. Layer half the quartered biscuits in the casserole dish and bake for 12 minutes.
  5. In a skillet, cook sausage.
  6. Stir in flour and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Whisk in milk and cook on low until gravy thickens.About 5 minutes or so.
  8. Pour gravy over partially-cooked biscuits in casserole dish.
  9. Top casserole with remaining quartered biscuits and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
